FAQ

FAQ

Q1. What's included in market price?

Contact your sales consultant, you should get a quotation sheet with all the details listed, also we provide customization service, you can decide the configurations you prefer.

Q2. How do you deliver the capsule house, is there any assistance if this is the first time I buy a capsule house?

Transportation:

The A2A capsule house(s) should be transported with a standard semi-trailer for inland delivery. Additionally, for overseas shipment, it is transported in a 40-foot FLAT RACK container.

For US clients, we provide DDU service, it is similar like door to door, but you still have to pay the bills for taxes and duties from the government.

Hoisting:

Upon arrival at the project site, the customer should contact the local crane service. The lifting weight of the capsule house is between 6 and 10 tons. It is recommended to use a crane of no less than 25 tons for loading and unloading.

Q3.What kind of preparations are required to land the capsule house?

Determine Location:

Just like any new construction, you would need to determine the location you want to put the capsule house. A survey of your land may need to be done to determine best locations.

Preparing a Foundation:

We recommend you prepare a foundation and bring utilities to it so they can plug in once the capsule house arrives. The type of foundation will be based upon the terrain and ground that you are placing the capsule house on. This is best determined by a general contractor or civil engineer. (Someone who is familiar with the land conditions of your location)

Does this need anchors/can it be anchored to the foundation?

This largely depends on local building rules. Check with your local municipality to see if it requires a dwelling to be anchored to the foundation. If so, anchors can be added to your capsule house by a contractor. It is already designed to be anchored.

Preparing for delivery of your capsule house:

Clean the site of all debris (i.e. old tree stumps, trash, dog waste, etc.) and a pathway to and from where the delivery vehicle parks.

Review access to delivery area:

The building will be delivered into place via a heavy-duty truck and long, tilt-bed trailer as well as a crane. The truck and trailer must have a clear 3m wide, relatively straight path from a paved road, as trailers are unable to make tight turns, like a boat trailer or camper. It is vitally important that there are no obstacles that cannot be navigated around, such as fences, trees, branches, or underground septic systems

Don't over-irrigate prior to delivery:

Our delivery vehicles are heavy and can leave tire tracks when driving across grass or other vegetation.

Installing Utilities:

Plumbing, electricity, and AC all come pre-installed in your capsule house from the factory. Utilities simply plugin on-site to the exterior of the capsule house. We recommend you have a professional contractor on site to get everything installed correctly upon delivery of your capsule house, including water, power supply and sewer or septic.
